Hey remember me??

The owner of this blog? The one who sucks at keeping it up to date!? Ya it's me! I am not even going to begin trying to catch up from when I last made an entry to this blog..it would take me all day with the way I type, but I will try and give you a quick run down of what is going on in my world.
I went to Nova Scotia for Christmas holidays and it was wonderful. On our way there we stopped in New Brunswick and had a whirlwind visit with Tina, Brooke and Joe. I wish I could of spent more time with them, but the time I did have with them was enjoyable. All together we were gone for about 10 days. Jaret was content and very relaxed to be away and didn't complain at all about not working and not making money. I think he actually enjoyed himself which in turn made me enjoy the holidays that much more. I took over 300 pictures while I was home, but I'll wait to share some of them for another post.
Jaret out did himself again and spoiled me like he always does at Christmas. My big gift was a fancy, brand new large format photo printer!! An Epson r 1900 and it's awesome! You can check it out here
We didn't do anything exciting for New Years. Basically it was the same thing we do every year....make good food, have a few drinks, and watch Dick Clark!

Work at the embroidery shop has slowed down immensely so I have only had about 5 days of work since before Christmas. I am enjoying the time off, but not enjoying not having my spending money! I am still working my regular Tuesday nights and every other weekend at Michaels, but the hours are starting to dwindle there as well. When Ryan pulled out next week's schedule on Tuesday night, he looked at it, gave it to me and said "Do you see something wrong with this?" I had to look at it a few times before I realized that I wasn't even on it!!!!!!!!!!! lol It's going to get fixed, but I only am getting 5 hours. :( It's January and I know it won't stay like that forever so I am enjoying my time off while I can.
So that means I am getting a lot of scrapping done and a lot of chatting at my new online scrapbooking home!! Skrap n Chat
I am going to leave you with some of my newest LO's. See you soon I promise!

Friday night rambling (and a LO or 2)

For once I am not alone on a Friday night. I can't believe it myself!! Jaret got home last night and wanted to go back out on the road today, but there was nothing for him. He mainly travels in the US and seeing as it's the day after Thanksgiving and most everyone takes today off there were no loads to be delivered! Not so good for him, but great for me......we are going to go to the movies together tonight :D Since he is hom early he plans to leave on Sunday which is fine by me because I have to work too.
There is not much new since I posted last, but I'll try and update you a bit.

Last weekend, we had an online crop over at CompuPro. A fair bit of girls participated and it was really fun. It kept me pretty busy all weekend though. I finally started my Christmas shopping last weekend too....finally. It is so hard for me to just go out and shop with no idea what I am getting anyone. I know some people do that, but it is not how I roll. lol I need to at least have a couple things in mind for everyone on my list. Things go so much more smoothly. I plan to get one more niece done this weekend and then I'll try and finish up the majority of the rest next weekend when I have more money.
I have been concerned about Robbies horrible breath so I took him to the vet last night. I thought it might be some teeth issues, but the vet said his teeth looked great! I was very happy about that. This vet was new and soo nice. I was so impressed with him. It helped that he owned Cocker Spaniels too! :D. Robbie was an angel for him. So the cause of the stinky breath?? The vet discovered that he has a gum infection so Robbie got a one dose shot of antibiotics and I need to wipe his mouth(outside) once a day.
3 weeks from this weekend, I'll be on way home to NB and NS for Christmas!!!!!!!! I seriously can't wait. Jaret is really looking forward to it as well so I know we are going to have a great holiday with my family! I have not been feeling very Chrismtassy which makes me sad because it is my favorite time of year, but after I realized that I only have 3 weeks left, I got my first wave of excitement!!! :D
I have a couple LO's to share before I head out to the movie
This LO was done for a LO Tag game over at CompuPro.
I scrapped this one last weekend for the online crop.

I'll be back soon. Have a great weekend!

I am supposed to be on a date

with Daniel Craig (oo7), but something was working against that. I was going to go to see "Quantum of Solice" with Ryan, his partner Todd and Jaret after work tonight, but Todd was not feeling well and Jaret is still not home!!!! It has also been snowing for a few hours and it is a MESS outside. Ryan and I decided to just go for dinner together and call it a night. I am glad we did because my ride home was a little nasty to say the least.
So here I sit in my jammies eating After Eights. lol I decided since I am home, I might as well show off my November reveal LO's. :D This month, Nicole gave us the 'Frightful' line from Little Yellow Bicycle to play with. Even though Halloween has not been my favorite thing to scrapbook, I had a lot of fun with it and I was really happy the way all my LO's turned out.

This LO was also done for a reveal over at CompuPro, but it was for our monthly sketch. I used mostly Doodlebug and Heidi Grace products. That Heidi Grace line was perfect for this little black and pink kitty. :D

Thanks for popping in. I think I will go snuggle up and watch some TV right now. Have a good night.

I better do it

Make this post that is...before I lose interest hee hee. It's Friday evening, I am alone, and it's raining cat & dogs outside. I would looooveeee to go snuggle on the sofa with a warm, fuzzy blanket and Robbie at my feet and have a nap, but that would not be very productive would it? I would be wasting away a perfect opportunity to share my newest LO's and some pictures of the photoshoot I did with Brooke. :) I would also be losing out on precious scrapbooking time! lol

I'll start with some pictures of Brooke from our photo shoot. She really really really loves the camera and poses like nobody's business. It's so funny! I love that she thinks she is beautiful at her age.......she is not lacking any self esteem that one. McAdam, NB has the most beautiful train station and that is where we went to take these photos. It was great and it's just around the corner from Tina's place :D

While I was away, I managed to get 3 Lo's done, but one was scrapped as a gift for someone so I don't have that one to show. Here are my other 2 though.
On this first one I got to use my new BG Urban Prairie paper. It is probably my favorite BG line to date. I scraplifted this LO from a PageMaps book that Tina has.

This second LO was based on a sketch by Valerie which Tina also introduced me too. She has amazing sketches and as soon as I saw this particular one I was inspired. Brooke loved me interviewing her for the journaling on this one. Afterwards she interviewed me and it was so cute. :D

Oooop I almost forgot to add this one in. I did this one of Brooke as a baby for my monthly challenge over at CompuPro. This LO was a scraplift by one of my favorite scrapbookers, Kelly Goree! :D

I'll be back tomorrow with more new LO's! Have a good night.

Gosh it's been forever!

Well it's been almost a month since I updated last...I am a horrible blogger I know! I know I have at least one faithful blog reader, Marina who tells me she needs an update. I promised her one...so here I am!

This is a busy time of year at both my jobs. At the emboirdery shop we have TONS of stuff to get done. It will not stop either until Christmas is over. A few nights a week, we have an evening crew come in and keep embroidering which keeps us caught up. The only down fall to that is I usually end up staying late to make sure all the hoops are filled for them :P At Michaels we are busy too. What can I say, it's Art & Crafts and it's the month before Christmas. Need I say more :P I am still only doing one night a week plus every other weekend, but overall with my other job I only have about 4 days off a month. Yikes!! I am contemplating giving up Michaels. We'll see!

A few weeks ago, I booked a flight to go see my twin Tina and my niece Brooke. I took a few days off of work and away I went. It was such a great weekend. Tina lives in a very small town with not a lot of anything. I can't say that I minded all that much. A few days we just stayed in our PJ's and all scrapped day. I got to have all of my favorite food items...Look-Ho-Ho eggrolls that my brother-in-law drove up from Halifax!! I also got a chance to go to the Fredericton market and have Samosas, fresh cheese curds, and kettle corn! The best part of the whole trip was spending time with Brooke. She is growing up way too fast and it makes me sad that I miss out on a lot of it so I make the most of every minute I am there. We did crafts, went to a Halloween party, shopped and made cookies together! She followed me around all weekend and loved the heck out of me and vise versa. :D It was very hard to leave....very hard. Brooke cried and cried and cried some more. I tried not to so she wouldn't see I was sad, but there was no stopping my tears either. Thankfully Christmas is just around the corner!!

Here she is with one of the ornaments I helped her paint. These first ones that we did here, she gave away so we ended up going to buy more.

Pretending to be scared of the ghosts we stopped and took pictures of. This little girl is bursting at the seams with personality! I love it.

The yummy shortbread cookies we baked and decorated for her Pre-K class. Oh what fun. Her Aunt Mary and cousin Kaylee dropped in at the perfect time to help us too.

Going for a bike ride or should I say bike-walk. Mom had to carry the bike most of the way around the neighborhood. :P

I have lots more photos to share, but I'll save some for a future post. So besides working and mu mini trip to New Brunswick the only other thing I have been up to is scrapbooking. I have a few pages to share, but again I will post them in a different post. In a couple days over at CompuPro we will be doing our October kit reveal and I have evern more LO's to share. Maybe Saturday I'll post ALL my new LO's. :D

I am going to go get ready to scrapbook and watch Survivor. I promise if I am not back tomorrow with a new post, I'll definitely be back Saturday okay??

Chow for now.
